Licence File

Site terms

These terms cover reading and reusing Licence File. They sit alongside the cookies page and the privacy notice.

What does Licence File publish?

Dated records. They cover casino licences, operators and terms, and they are information only, never financial, legal or gambling advice.

  • No recommendations: no casino is ranked, scored or recommended.
  • No casino links: links never point to a casino’s site, sign-up or offer pages.
  • No offers: no bonus amounts or offer figures.
  • Dates: each line holds only for the day it was checked, and older copies stay on file.

Casino terms move. A casino can change its own terms at any time, and its current terms govern any account held there.

Who is Licence File for?

Adults. Nobody under 18 should use it. It has no part in any casino account:

  • Accounts: it holds none at any casino.
  • Payments: it sees none.
  • Withdrawals: it cannot act on any, or on a dispute.

Can you quote or reuse a page?

Quotes are welcome, and larger copying needs permission first, under these limits:

Short quotes

  • Allowed: when the quote links back to its page.
  • Dates: the check date stays beside any figure quoted.
  • Casino wording: words quoted from a casino’s documents remain that casino’s.

Whole pages

  • Permission first: copying a whole page, or the records as a set, needs the publisher’s written permission.
  • Where to ask: hello@licencefile.com.

Who carries the risk of an error?

Care is taken, within limits. The publisher reports each record as its source gave it on the check date.

Reliance

Within the limits the law sets, the publisher bears no liability for any loss arising when a reader acts on a page. Nor does it answer for a casino’s own acts or omissions.

Liability that stays

Some liability stays in full. The law forbids limiting it for fraud, or for death or personal injury that negligence causes. Statutory rights are unaffected.

How do these terms change?

By an update, which always carries a fresh date beside the page title:

  • Who: the publisher may update them.
  • From when: the updated version applies from its date on.
