Anjouan gaming licences and the casinos listed on them
Anjouan gaming licences are listed on a public register. It held 1,543 of them. Every row read “Valid”, and 339 were past their printed expiry date.
An overseas licence is not permission to offer gambling in Great Britain. It does not guarantee a payout.
The validator page lists the United Kingdom among territories an Anjouan licence does not extend to.
Register rows, casino pages and terms on this page were checked on , unless another date is shown.

Who issues an Anjouan gaming licence?
Anjouan Licensing Services Inc., under law from 2005. It acts as “the sole authorised administrator and official representative of the Gaming Board”.
Above it sits the Anjouan Gaming Authority. Its overview names the AOFA as the competent regulatory authority and calls Anjouan “a constituent territory of the Union of the Comoros”. Anjouan’s 2005 legislation includes “the Anjouan Computer Gaming Licensing Act”.
The licence types page splits licences into B2C and B2B:
- B2C: operators serving players.
- B2B: service suppliers.
- Activities listed: online casinos, sports betting, poker, bingo and prediction markets.
- Also listed: blockchain-based gaming and “Cryptocurrency-enabled gaming operations”.
A second register exists. It holds 29 rows of recognition letters, each for a company licensed in another jurisdiction.
- Number form: ALSI, then a REC reference.
- Status column: “valid”, with a validity period.
- Most frequent jurisdictions: Isle of Man 9, Romania 7, Malta 6.
What does the Anjouan register show for each licence?
One row per licence. Its columns are Company, Status, License Number, Type, Issue Date, Expiry Date and Domains.
One register entry, cell by cell
Take Betportal’s row:
- Company
- Excite Ultra Media Ltd
- Status
- valid
- License Number
- ALSI-202601040-FI2
- Type
- b2c
- Issue Date
- 24 January 2026
- Expiry Date
- 23 January 2027
- Domains
- betportal.com, musbet.com
Each cell matched the earlier copy of the register. Not every row on the register sits inside its printed dates, as the next section counts.
Valid past expiry
339 of 1,543 rows print an expiry date that had passed when the register was read, about 22% of the register. All still read “Valid”.
Greenwich N.V.’s row is one. Its printed term ran from 7 May 2024 to 6 May 2026, yet 154 days past that end it still read “Valid”.
The status page lists Active, Suspended, Revoked and Expired, and defines Active as “currently valid”. A bare “Valid” is not among them.
Licence File keeps both dates. Each such row is quoted with its printed term beside the check date, and is never labelled current or expired here.
A “Valid” badge is half the entry. The expiry column is the other half.
Holders supply each row’s domains. A listing, the register says, does not confirm ownership of the domain, trademark or any associated intellectual property.
Register-wide, the counts ran as follows:
- Domains: 4,144, of which 4,137 distinct.
- b2c rows: 1,311.
- b2b rows: 177.
- b2b & b2c rows: 30.
- b2c, b2b & whitelabeling rows: 25.
- Total: 1,543 rows.
Between checks
Compared with the 3 October copy of 1,539 rows, the register had changed in these ways:
- Added: 6 licences, all issued 30 September 2026.
- Dropped: GTS Interactive Ltd and Primrose Media Limited.
- Changed: the expiry date or domain list on 22 rows.
Its disclaimer warns of lag. The register “is updated periodically and may not reflect changes that have occurred since the most recent update”.
Inclusion “does not constitute an endorsement”. A method page explains how Licence File dates each register copy, and the documents behind every check are listed under sources.
A query on the register page can take these forms:
- Search box: a licence number, company name, domain, type or status.
- Pre-filled search: ?search= followed by the text.
- One row highlighted: ?license= followed by the number.
- Page size: 25 rows.
How do you check an Anjouan licence seal?
Click the seal on the casino’s own site. Its script builds a validator link from the page’s domain, a seal_id and a stamp, the only proof Licence File accepts.
The licence seal guide has every step. On the validator page, the answer sits in 3 fields, and each one settles a different part of the check:
- Status line: “Operating status: VALID” or another state.
- Registered Website(s): the domain the seal must match.
- License No.: the number to look up in the register.
Each result meant something different:
- VALID, through the seal: Betportal’s link named Excite Ultra Media Ltd and ALSI-202601040-FI2.
- INVALID, domain typed alone: listed domains got it, betportal.com among them, though each sat on a “Valid” row.
- INVALID, unlisted domain: a domain absent from the register got the same page.
- INVALID, borrowed seal values: Betportal’s seal values with another domain in the link.
A domain-only INVALID proves nothing. It cannot tell a listed domain from an unlisted one, so Licence File never cites one as a finding about a brand.
The seal policy and the seal page set these rules:
- Link: it “must link directly to the official licence verification page”.
- Display: site-wide, without modification.
- Removal: on suspension, revocation or expiry.
- Domains: never one the licence does not cover.
- States: Valid, Suspended and Invalid.
Certificates carry a QR code to the same page, yet the framework says “only the public register reflects the current position”. Curaçao has its own hub and check guide.
Which countries does an Anjouan licence exclude?
The validator page names them. In its words, an Anjouan licence “is not valid in” these restricted territories:
- Named
- Australia
- Comoros
- France
- Netherlands
- Spain
- United Kingdom
- USA
- By category
- FATF-blacklisted and sanctioned jurisdictions.
- Complaints from them
- they “will not be entertained”.
The United Kingdom is on that list. So is Comoros, the country Anjouan is part of.
Betportal keeps its own list. Its privacy policy puts the United Kingdom among jurisdictions whose residents are “not eligible to register or play”.
How do Anjouan licensees handle player complaints?
The casino first. Then an approved ADR provider, paid for by the operator. The Authority itself “does not handle, mediate, or adjudicate player complaints”.
Not every player is covered. Its policy places “Complaints from players in excluded territories” outside regulatory review. The United Kingdom is one such territory, so none of the steps below is promised to a reader there.
For players the policy does cover, the steps run in this order, each with its own time limit:
Complaint: to the operator, through the function on its interactive site seal.
Reply: due within 30 calendar days.
Time limits: 14 days from the session for a game outcome, 30 days for payments, suspensions or bonuses.
Escalation: an approved ADR provider, once 30 days pass without a fix.
Cost: carried by the operator, and “ADR participation is mandatory for all licensed operators”.
That policy also leaves out these matters:
- Unrelated claims: anything outside licensed gaming activity.
- Early escalation: before the 30-day operator period ends.
- Commercial disputes: outside the process too.
- Language: “All complaints and ADR communications must be conducted in English”.
Effect on a withdrawal: disputes start at the casino. For a player in an excluded territory, the policy offers no regulatory review after that.
What happens when an Anjouan licence is suspended?
It stops being Active. Only an Active licence may conduct licensed internet gaming, the status page says, and the seal must come down too.
The suspended list held 1 licence:
- Licensee: Mucho Gaming Limited, type b2b.
- Licence: ALSI-202412018-FI1.
- Domain: rollblock.io.
- Suspended: 8 September 2026.
- Reason: “Violation of license conditions. Failure to participate in ADR”.
Its licence number was missing from the register table, although the suspended list still printed it in full. Licence File records both and draws no conclusion from them.
Revocation
Revocation “is permanent”. Former holders “will not be considered for licensing in the future”, and their URLs “will not be allowed on any other license”.
- Knifex Ltd: ALSI-102404001-FI3, domains knifex.bet and knifex.com, revoked 9 June 2026 for “Fraud”.
- Amor 25 Limited: ALSI-202605046-FI2, domain eaglebet99.com, revoked 10 July 2026 for “Illegal sublicensing”.
Both have termination notices. A September 2026 notice beside them amends licence conditions on beneficial ownership, ADR and B2B disclosure.
Which brands have we checked under Anjouan licences?
Brands are matched by domain. Each one sits under its licensee’s register entry, and published files appear in the grid at the top.
Excite Ultra Media Ltd
- Licence type: b2c, on the register row.
- Domains on that row: 2, betportal.com among them.
- Sisters on file: at least 1, musbet.com, at medium confidence.
A listed domain “confirms only that the domain has been notified to the Authority”, the register warns. The Betportal review has the full file.

Win Top Ltd
- Licence type: b2c, on the company’s register row.
- Daytona Spin: daytonaspin.com, on that row.
- Spinpolo: spinpolo.com, on that row too.
Licence File labels the pair a same licence row, because the register is the only record that links them. Neither is called a sister.
- Daytona SpinDaytona Spin

Where can you turn for help with gambling?
A licence check can’t tell you whether gambling’s still fun. If it isn’t, you don’t have to handle that on your own. Ring 0808 8020 133 for the National Gambling Helpline, a GamCare service, or send it a WhatsApp message.
GamCare’s site has live chat as well. In Wales, you’ve also got the NHS Wales helpline, 0808 2819 265.
With GAMSTOP, you choose an exclusion lasting anywhere from 6 months to 5 years. If you don’t contact GAMSTOP to lift it, it stays for 7 more years after that.
There’s more on the safer gambling page. Licence File is for adults aged 18 or over.
